I totally surprised Mike.

Yes I did.
I NEVER EVER can keep a surprise.
I just can't.
But I did this time.
I told him for Valentine's Day
I bought us dance lessons.

It sounds nice...
but really it wouldn't have been.
We are not really the dancing type.
Don't get me wrong now, I LOVE to dance,
but more of a freestyle than actual legit dance moves. And my babe,
well let's just say he's super cute!
And we'd probably do more laughing
than dancing.

Anyway Staci and I bought tickets
to take our hubs out to see

Cirque Du Soleil
Dralion
It was stinking amazing!!

I highly recommend going and seeing any of
Cirque Du Soleil's shows if you have an opportunity. There is some serious talent.
And well worth the ticket price.

Dear Cirque Du Soleil,
Ya'll can do some dang freaky moves with your bodies. Seriously Amazing. I was completely entertained. I think my favorite part was the trampolines. And ya'll are so graceful. I can't even walk that graceful. Thanks so much for the entertainment, Mike was WAY happy when he found out he was seeing you and not taking dancing lessons.

So Turn It On, Turn It Up, And Sing Along...

I love music.
A lot.

And my hot man knows it.
So for my birthday he bought me tickets to
Virtual Reality Tour
It was awesome.
Staci and I went and had a big ol' blast.
That Brad Paisley is really something.
I heart him.

I just gotta tell ya'll this...
That Brad *can* play the guitar!
He's country musics Jimi Hendrix.

The music was loud and the crowd was fun!
The crowd was the loudest when
Brad brought out Denver's very own
That kid is DANGITY cute.
And I actually gave Alyson permission to marry him....how bout that?!
Not many will even come close to getting that kind of permission.

Brad brought with him
and

They were both also fabulous.

I felt so thankful for my Mike.
He is so thoughtful, he knew I would love that concert.
And I did.

My favorite song that night was this..
*please click pause on my music below*

And this song moved Staci to tears.
It was sweet.

I mean I *really* love country music.
And that night was really special.
Thanks Staci for coming and taking pictures.

Dear Brad Paisley,
You entertain me. I LOVED your Virtual Reality Tour! I think you are super cute, very talented, and I bet you are a lovely husband to that cute little wife of yours.
I think you made a great choice when you decided to bring The Band Perry and that stinking cute Scotty with you. You can bet on one thing for sure...
I'll be "turnin it on, turnin it up, and singin along"!

WHAT A DAY!! I mean really, WHAT A DAY!

Today was AmAzInG!
I need to tell you a story.
My sweet Mike doesn't like animals.
Not really at all.
I know he loves our dog Arwen.
But he doesn't admit it to anyone.
I have asked many a time for a another puppy,
and the closest I've gotten is a couple of
Beta fish. Which are lovely but not really all that fun to cuddle.
He has simply refused to have another dog.

Until...Today!
My Dawson wanted one for his upcoming birthday and Mike agreed.
Holla!
And So Dawson chose a sweet little girl and named her Mercedes.

Isn't she just the cutest thing ever!?
We don't get her for a couple more weeks because she is just too young. Which is good I need to put away all my Christmas stuff before I bring a new baby home.
She is currently living near Colorado Springs. So while we were near by we decided to visit the

Emilee

Dawson, his friend Bryson, and Mike

It was a lovely day and we had fun walking  around the beautiful campus.

Dear Mike,
I want to write to you today because today you were the best dad ever. You made a huge sacrifice for one of your kids and I find that very attractive...VERY! I hope Mercedes loves you and I hope you love her. Thank you.

All is calm, all is bright.....

Silent Night.
Holy Night.

I have had such an amazing day.
I hope everyone has had a day as
lovely as mine.

I woke up early, really early for a night nurse...6 a.m.
And I woke up in the arms of my Mike.
And we laid there and listened to
Christmas music on my phone.
It was perfect, I fell in love..AGAIN.
And then we wrapped presents and listened to more Christmas music.
More in love.
And then we prepared for our annual
Christmas Eve
party at his parents house.
Mike washed my car, put gas in my car, shoveled out someone who needed it,
and made all four of the casseroles.
With a smile, In case you were wondering.
And yes...I fell even more in love.

And boy oh boy
did we have fun at our little party.
My little Jarret. He has more Christmas spirit than anyone I know.

Bryant is super cute and just a bit weird.

I think Jarret was getting ready to fart on me,
cause that's what he did.
I was not so happy.

Mike and Dawson playing the Minute it Win it Christmas game.

Alyson and Emilee with more fun and games.

Grandma reading "'Twas the Night Before Christmas"
Mike reading from the scriptures
More Love comin' his way.
I tell ya he is awesome.
All of my sweet children, some smiling and some practicing their kill shots.
Once again my Mike being the sweetest most kind human ever.
Helping out his sweet brother~ Santa.
Or is it Uncle Marc?

Denver's very own city and county building.
It is always beautiful on Christmas Eve,
we should know cause we drive past every single year!

Another one for your enjoyment.
And from my very own
Nativity
atop my fire place.
The Baby Jesus.

Dear Love CoRi dAwN Readers,
Thank you for enduring all of my crazy videos this month. The month is not over yet so you will have the opportunity to see a couple more. I would like you to know that I love Christmas, I love it because of all of the tradition and love that seem to just happen. I love because I love Jesus. And I am grateful for Him. I am grateful for His birth, His life, His death, and His resurrection. I also want all ya'll, and Mike, to know that I love Mike. He is more than I deserve.

Friends, sleep in Heavenly peace tonight because all is calm and all is bright.
Christ the Savior is born.

Love,

It's Beginning....

To look A LOT like
Christmas!
Here at my house we have at least a foot of snow, and I'm so not impressed. I have a list a mile and half long of things I really need to get done before Christmas. And what is also super fantastic is that my washer is broken and I MUST go out and get a new one. My laundry is in a HUGE pile. With 7 people, laundry is something you really don't want to let get out of hand. And I am guilty of letting lots of things get out of hand.

Check out my sweet Mike with the neighbor's
snow blower...he looks hot as a snow blower,
maybe I'll get him one for Christmas.

I'll bet the Y (Go Cougars) hat is keeping his head warm but he should really cover his ears.

Since it is beginning to look like Christmas.
I give you this sweet sound.

Dear Mike and Michael,
Mike, I just heart you!! You are so sweet to snow blow. And you look dang hot doin' it. I really do have the best husband ever!
Micheal, sing to me! Your voice is smooth like butter.

CIVIL DEFENSE CAVES!

OMGOSH!
While we were on vacation in Idaho
we went "caving"!
We went to the
Near Rexburg.
So fun!!

When we got there the sun was just setting and it was beautiful.
It didn't matter that it was getting dark
because the caves are dark anyway.

OK...Sometimes I make myself laugh...really hard.
Usually I laugh at myself when I do something that isn't so smart.
And while hiking in the caves I made myself laugh.
Instead of using the flashlight app on my phone I used my cameras pre-flash for light.
And while doing that I took an amazing amount of pictures of my feet, Mike's feet, and the rocks.
They are some really nice pictures.

The kids had a blast hiking through the pitch black caves.
I was impressed with their ability to scale rocks in darkness.

While in there we tripped, bumped our heads, got a little scared, and some of us may or may not have voided, but it was a super amount of fun and one of our fondest memories of our vacation.

We also had just about the best excursion guides ever!
My cousin Ike and his lovely wife Shauna.
They and their kids were super fun and made us laugh.

And the stars!!
I wish everyone could see stars like we saw when we came out.
It was more than amazing.

Dear Ike and Shauna,
Thank you for helping me make some memories! We had a blast that night and my kids are still talking about it. You two are the best tour guides ever and I love you.
