My sister is upstairs right now going to sleep in Dawson's bed.

The 2003 Harvest

In 2003 we had a great harvest.

Dana, Mychael-Ann, and I (CoRi dAwN)

all had handsome little boys.

Those little boy love each other.

All of them are very

fun and have lots of energy.

First came Jarret, he's mine.

Then came Noah, he belongs to Mychael-Ann

And finally Owen, he's Dana's

They had a blast last week

hanging out with each other.

They are not very quiet.

I am happy that you guys are cousins.

Cousins are the best.

I am totally enjoying watching you grow up.

You are all very handsome.

And in a couple of years, the girls are gonna love you.

Happy Birthday Baby Sister

It was my baby sister's birthday on Saturday.

I haven't seen her in a couple years and I miss her terribly!

I haven't even met my nephew.

SAD.

I want her to know that I was thinking about

her on birthday and I love her.

What a blast the 4th of July was!

My little family and I had a BlAsT yesterday as we celebrated our country's birthday!

We woke up super early and went to the

RB's Ward pancake breakfast, and there we

ate, and played, and laughed.

And then we celebrated with friends and family at our house.

Dear United States of America,

I am SO SO SO grateful for you.

To live and raise my family in the

greatest country ever is amazing.

I am thankful for all of the men

and women who have served you.

I love Sundays!

It's Sunday! This weekend I have had an opportunity to reflect on some pretty amazing things. Some I'll have to share some later and some I want to share now, like.... 

Yesterday was my nephew Owen's baptism. I was tired from working all night but I was so happy to have the opportunity to go and watch him.

He was the last of four little boy cousins to get baptized this year, and I was at all of them. What a special gift for me, to get to watch four boys who I love and care about make such a good choice.

These boys very much impress me, and they make me happy, and they make me laugh, and I am glad they are part of my life.





My handsome Jarret was first. He was baptized by his dad, Mike.

Noah was next, he was baptized by his dad Jared P.

And then Thomas, he was baptized by his uncle Mike.
His beautiful mother Ronni was at his side.

And last there was Owen, who was baptized by his dad Jared B.

You have made a great choice. I am
proud of you. Thank you for letting
me be part of your very special day.

Hiking

Hiked Devil's Head.

Sort of.

Dana, Staci,  and I took most of our kids (7 out of 12)

on a little adventure. I love to hike Devil's Head, it's a fun hike

and the view is simply AMAZING!

We got started and everyone was happy and energetic.

I actually think they were more excited about all of the trail food we brought.

But they were happy all the same.

Jarret. Yep he's got some guns.

Isabelle, Adam, Emilee, and Kyle.

Emilee, Isabelle, Owen, and Jarret.

So we were hiking along having a grand ol' time. Yelling

"STAY ON THE TRAIL", and eating all those yummy snacks.

And then...

See that BIG NASTY BLACK cloud behind Jarret?

That's what happened.

Someone must of thought our little rag muffins needed a shower

because that is what they got.

And then it hailed.

And so we only made it half way.

Sad.

But fear not, we will try it again.

Even though I gotta clean mud

out of my car it was still worth it.
